High-Performance 2D Decode Board is like punching the accelerator. The ED40
board¡¯s high-speed USB 2.0 interface enables faster barcode data transmission
and additional capabilities – including high-speed video and image transfers.

Choose from a
variety of hardware configurations: The ED40 decode board can be separated from
the optics or bracket-mounted to the optics. For an even more compact version,
we offer a reference design option (contact your Honeywell OEM sale
representative or local partner for more information).
The ED40 decode
board is compatible with Honeywell EA series 2D imagers, so developers can
fully leverage design efforts. It uses a common control protocol, configuration
tools (EasySet) and pin-out developed for all EA series engines. The ED40
boards is also plug compatible with the Honeywell ED30 standard decode board,
enabling reduced time to market and promoting easier product migration.
